Scoundrel Guide

Scoundrel Guide
If you want a follower that’s more akin to Han Solo than Luke Skywalker, this is the guy for you. The Scoundrel is built around the classic idea of the down and in the dumps rogue. He’s out for himself and he wants nothing more than to loot his way across Sanctuary, Burning Hells or no. He has spent the better part of the last few years trudging through bars and brothels, thieving in between. He’s the classic bad guy looking for a quick buck and when the chance to follow you comes along, he takes it. Check out this Scoundrel guide to learn more about how to use your follower.
This Scoundrel guide is designed to help you take advantage of every tool at your fingertips to get the most out of the scoundrel. From his crowd control skills to his ability to add solid ranged combat to your repertoire, the scoundrel is a great addition for almost any class in the game and you’ll have a heck of a lot of fun watching his backstory unfold.
Scoundrel Guide to Skills
The Scoundrel’s skills are broken down between three distinct types – those that deal damage, those that disable and poison and those that buff you and your party. In total there are eight skills in the game from which you can choose.
When you reach level 10 and unlock the Scoundrel, you’ll have access to two potential skills. At each five level increment you’ll unlock another two skills which can be used to supplement your character or your party. The best skills are those that benefit you in the current moment and since that can change from one fight to the next, I’ve created a detailed breakdown of the skills in this scoundrel guide for you to review.
Scoundrel Guide to Equipment
Scoundrels, like the other two followers are only given a handful of item slots to fill. In this case, you’ll be able to choose amulets and rings to fill your jewelry slots and either a bow or crossbow to fill your ranged weapon slot (no melee for this guy). You’ll also be able to select one Scoundrel Token which offers follower specific bonuses to your character.
How you spec your follower and how you expect to use them in combat will largely determine which of the equipment pieces you select. Use this scoundrel guide to help you determine which is the best option for your particular character.
